I unpublished a poem assuming I would just be able to post it again without the need to spend any coins and it doesn't seem to be that way. There's no " publish it" on the draft. As for why I unpublished it, well that's a funny story, I couldn't separate the stanzas for some reason and only noticed it when I published it. Now I've properly separated them but I can't re-publish.... Send help.
The simple truth is that authors like making people squirm. If this weren't the case, all novels would be filled completely with cute bunnies having birthday parties.

Okay dokey, so I don't publish/unpublish very often these days, but from how I understand it you may need to have 200 points earned- but it won't take them away from you. As in, the "publish it" button may not show up until you have 200 points. (but you have that now... did you have them earlier when you were trying?)
Also if you don't want to unpublish works in the future, you can simply edit them while they're still published! When you go into your poem or story or whatever, on the right there should be a big white button that says "Edit Work".
