Basically always listening to Half Moon Run (Favourite Boy is the best song in my opinion) and I feel like I need to pull @AvantCoffee into this as well
I've also been listening to a lot of Leonard Cohen lately because a) I like his music and b) he is also a poet so it's cool to have that musician/poet thing going on.
This particular music puts me in a writing mood whenever I make plans related to a natural place, animals, and the likes. Something about the contrast between the urban feel of the music compared to what I'm writing about helps me get inspired. It also calms me down, if necessary.
Greetings.

I'm working on a worldbuilding project called The Wonders of Pujil Archipelago. You can find it here: The Wonders of Pujil Archipelago
I've been listening to a lot of AJR and P!ATD's old albums when I walk around. They're super good and definitely recommend AJR's album "The Click" and P!ATD's "Vices and Virtues."
When I'm not walking, I listen to a lot of late 2000s/early 2010s songs, including Macklemore and Adele (I know, two very different artists)!
My original comment here was getting obnoxiously long because I got over-excited and tried to cram in a list of all my favorite artists, bands, and songs. Then I realized I'm probably supposed to just pick a few, so here they are. It was painful, but I narrowed it down to three artists. I'll save the others for later lol
- Mecano. This band is my nostalgic comfort music and has a special place in my heart. Because they're one of my dad's favorites, I've been listening to them for pretty much my entire life. When I was seven, I was given a little red MP3 player for my birthday with only five songs on it. The first song in the list was one of them. Probably listened to it a hundred times a day haha https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SgpcZyJp3w https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MR3vH6U79Ko https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrSIQrikVyE (subject matter of the third song is a bit mature)
TAYLOR SWIFT'S FOLKLORE! If you're a fan of chill, otherworldly songs, this album is the way to gooooo! I use Folklore so much for writing, relaxing and sometimes for fun because it's so good! One or two songs have a few curse words (Betty, The 1 and Mad Woman I can't remember if there were any others) so you should try to find the clean version. (If you're looking for more upbeat and peppy songs to dance to and stuff, her album, Lover, would be more suitable. )
