Some of you may have heard of the upcoming project "The Shadow Relay", an audio podcast sci-fi adventure that focuses on the crew of the starship IS-99 Columbia. It is fun, occasionally pulpy, but very deep, dark, and philisophical, taking place in a cynical world where humanity is but a small denominator in a greater universe. Think of it as a gritty cross between Star Trek and Star Wars, plagued with war, politics, and conspiracy.

It is currently in the early stages of development, but the prologue has already been completed and, in order to promote it, it has been decided that a demo take will be made, fully voiced with sound effects. It will also succesfully convey the point of the project and interest more people in helping out. We NEED people to help out once the first three episodes are written by me.

Mind you, this will only be a demo, and if you are interested it is not a commitment, meaning that you are not necessarily expected to voice in the future. This is only to get the point across and the final version may be done in a separate take if voice actors are not available once the project actually kicks off.

Here are the roles.

Major Peter Tomlin (ESSENTIAL): The main focus of the prologue. A military auditor sent to inspect a marine camp. Secretly assigned by the admiralty and the leaders of "Project Columbia" to select men for the project.
- American accent

Sergeant Schiffer (ESSENTIAL): The trainer for the marine division of the camp and one of the few enlisted soldiers that knows about the "Columbia Project." An agent who reports directly to the major, hiding the details from the commanders of the camp. Responsible for evaluating elligible recruits.
- Gruff American accent

Captain Joseph Pellew: An important member of the project, responsible for watching over the construction of the "Columbia" in order to prepare for his duty: captaining the ship.
- American accent (it would be nice to possibly have someone black to play the role as well, just to mix things up and have some diversity)/scottish accent/English accent/vague foreign or european accent.

Rear Admiral Samuel Walker/Narrator: A midranking member of the project, responsible for overseeing Pellew and Tomlin. Also narrates the introduction.
- calm, humble sounding American accent/Scottish accent/English accent/Irish accent

Lieutenant Lizzie Chapman: Tomlin's assistant.
-English accent ("sexy" sounding, preferably)

Virtual Intelligence narrator (male or female): Reads the opening quote, intro titles, and episode title
- any voice

So, there you have it. There is no rush, but I would like to at least get some interest.
Rear Admiral Samuel Walker: A midranking officer
