Pretty nice place, although winters can be a bit too cold and long. If you ever visit Duluth, you MUST swim in Lake Superior. I prefer the rocky beaches, but park point has a nice sand beach.
Another bit of advice: never try to cross the lift bridge on a wednesday late afternoon/night. You could be bridged by all of the sailboats that race on wednesdays. It happened to me once. Took almost an hour for all of them to get through.

Lol, we did that in Washington D.C. We had to go through at 3:00 AM in a huge storm and when they stopped traffic to let us through we ended up grid-locking the city for about a half hour.
I live in a small tourist based town on the coast of Lake Michigan in the state of Michigan. It's a 5 minute walk to the beach from my house. ^_^ And my high school band is going to Disney World again this year for Spring Break! I'm so excited! *bounces*
