Here's an idea, even though it'll be irrelevent to what your doing...

Under no circumstances should you smile in a picture, has to be Great Depresssion-photo-records-style.
(I smile in most of my pictures, but it's like a natural thing for guys)

Actually, now that I think about it, don't smile at all. Have it so your stoic face looks like a scowl.
