Okay? Well, I like her. I'm just saying that it's going to take her quite a few movies to get better acting. Not liking her because her acting is bad and because guys think she's hot is pretty low. She's not perfect, nor is anyone else. Are you judging her because she's a bad person? Or because she's a bad actress? She's trying. Give her some slack.

How else would a viewer judge an actress if she can't act? It's just the same as someone not liking Stephanie Meyers if they think her writing is terrible.

Oh that's true...well, I guess I haven't really payed attention to her...I'll do it next time i see her in a movie. And she has the same birthday as me.

I can understand the Megan Fox hate - as beautiful as she is, she is not a good actress. Plus Transformers was awful, with no plot, no good characters, it was just crap.

But I don't get the Angelina Jolie love? Jolie is just as untalented, plus she adopts all those kids in some bizarre face-off with Madonna. It's weird.
Plus her and Brad "the shit" Pitt....don't really think that was fair on Jennifer Anniston. Who doesn't like Jen?

Helen Mirren, Jodie Foster, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand and my real favourite...

People are people. Never understood hatred toward an actor/actress. Sure, dislike. But hatred?

Megan Fox is hot. Is it disappointing that she was cast mainly for her looks? Sure. But that's the casting. I didn't think she was particularly bad when it came to acting. It's not her fault they said, "Hey, get on this bike and sex it up." Was she hot doing it? Of course. But again, that's the movie, not her.

Hate the guys who cast hot girls to spike the sex appeal, if you must. But it's a marketing technique, and it works.

(Also, it isn't only guys who are "shallow." They wouldn't have guys take off their shirts in movies if the ladies didn't like it. And some ladies like chicks, too. I, for one, definitely approve of Megan Fox's hotness. )

I think she's an okay actress, but she's still young and inexperienced, guys. Harrison Ford was in 22 movies before he stared in Star Wars, which is really the movie that brought him to fame. (That and Indiana Jones, but Indiana Jones was after Star Wars)

I think she's ok, her performance in Transformers was ok, not memorable or anything, she'll be forgotten two years from now. Then have you heard anything from Angelina JOlie in this last few months? no , nothing besides her married life with Brad Pitt. And that's what will happen to Megan. She's on her way to the top, although acoording to her she's alredy there (stupid) and in two or three years she'll be just the Transformers girl because she's not a good actress and I doubt that besides Transformers she will a memorable performance. And what most have said about her being pretty is true. Being pretty does not make her a good actress, though.

I think that the movie was really bad for her to be in just because of the script.

transformers 1 and transformers 2.

The other movies on IMDB are movies that she is working on. And the movie 'Whore' and How to lose friends and alienate people' were tiny indie films never released in theaters. Probably not even on DVD
When she says she's been in only three movies, its true. Because 'movies' are actual movies that are released in theaters and people can have access to seeing them
ANYTHING is listed on IMDB. Even if you just had one line in a film. Get real.

Megan Fox is still a young, inexperianced actress. It's going to take a lot more movies before she gets as good as the ones we know and love. I like her ten times more then those two dweebs in Twilight and in my opinion, she's better. And she's pretty and I think her acting is quite alright. Just wait, in the future she'll turn into a good actress.

Oh and Transformers was awesome. The computer effects were super cool.

I don't really think Megan Fox's acting skills are going to excell that much further, even to the point when we can call her 'good' or 'really good'. She's just 'OK', from as far as I have seen in interviews and public outings, she has a nice personality and she's smart etc... Yeah, she has it going for her.
Even if an actor or actress is young you can see potential right away- sometimes even in their very first films. Like Dakota Fanning, you knew she was a good actress from the begining (at least I don't think she's half bad anyway).
In Transformer's her main role was to 'look pretty', her acting wasn't bad but it wasn't great either.

People, jeesh, Megan Fox was rather suitable to that Transformers movie.
They weren't looking for a brainy actress to spew intelligent dialogue.
She's the "hot leading female" in the action movie. She's paid to run around, scream and look pretty. Good or bad acting, she's played out her part.

She's okay, I guess, but hating her seems more like a feeling produced from jealousy.

Hot is the most horrible way to describe a woman. It's something you can get from a guy who doesn't care a ---- about real relationships. Most boys see an attractive woman, and what's the first word it comes to the guy's mind? HOT. So unsensible...

I think it's a way of saying "You're attractive, so I want to borrow you for a minute or two to make guys jealous". I think that if a guy, ever, comes to me to tell me I'm HOT, the first thing he'll get... boy, don't want to go there.

A guy should be reasonable. Sensible when it comes to couples. A guy that only cares about himself, or only cares to be with a HOT girl it's the most disgusting thing I could possibly think of, right now.

It is true she has no talent. A lot of her roles like HTLFAAP could have been played a lot better. In my Opinon she is ethier going to turn into a porn star or play dumb brunettes for the rest of her life.
However I have seen her in some interview and she seems pretty funny (kind of... it could just be a media gag) . And for girls I think jelously has a lot to do with it.
