Bull. It focuses on English Holidays and dates which are important to English citizens. This is relevent to the citizenship process. If a person doesn't like the English Culture, than they shouldn't apply for citizenship.

When a person enters a country, they have to be assimilated into the culture or they will not become a unit of society. Mind you I'm not advocating forced conversions, but an elementry knowledge in English Culture is needed for a new citizen, and to not recognize christianity in the culture of England would be like saying that a house has no foundation.

Now, Fontroy, I have to ask if you are a Muslim or qualified to represent Muslims in any way, or if you are simply trying to shove political correctness into a conversation.

Because the English were mostly Catholics until Henry VIII (I think) England was ultimately a christian country until recently.

No they're not they're saints for countries. St. Patrick is the saint of Ireland and St. Andrew is Scotland, the UK celebrates them because the NI and Scotland are apart of the UK...there's nothing christian about them they're saints of countries not religions.
