Yup. You have to write a poem every day for the month. I'm doing both. I've finished today's poem and I've planned some of my screnzy but not really started writing it because I need to work something out first XD
Yup. Sounds like fun. I'm going to tackle it this year-- first time ever. Of course, I'd never even heard of NaPoWriMo, Screnzy, or NaNoWriMo until I joined YWS. So.
But, I'm going to have fun doing it! Or have fun watching myself crash-and-burn. Either way.
"Let's eat, Grandma!" as opposed to "Let's eat Grandma!": punctuation saves lives.
I'm doing both NaPo and Screnzy. I was planning on writing prose too but I really have to work on my school stuff. I have over 60 questions due for English and Science combined Monday and two projects due for English the day after spring break. I'm attempting to write five pages of my Screnzy a day, as well as a poem. So, yeah, I'm insane.

Kat's my new favorite. other than Sachi.
The idea that a poem was a made thing stayed with me, and I decided then that I wanted to be an artist, not just a diarist. So I put myself through a kind of apprenticeship in writing poetry, and I understood even then that my practice as a poet was deeply related to my reading. — Edward Hirsch
