Hello there my fellow YWS'ers. There's been a real flood of titles written in full caps lately and I just wanted to point out a few of the reasons you shouldn't use them. In fact, I'm hoping this will be the last of such titles in a log time. Here's the reasons:
1. It is considered as yelling/ shouting in the world of the internet and it's considered rude.
2. It hurts people's eyes. Full capitals can be very painful to read and some find them more so than others. I personally cringe every time I see a single line written in full capitals.
3. There are better ways to draw attention to your work. I find that an interesting or cleverly worded title gets a much more positive response.
4. Your title will not be in full capitals for long. A kind moderator will soon come along and change it for you so please don't keep adding to their work load.
5. 'Because it's annoying and we'll eat your faces.' (And no I am not at liberty to say who I am quoting.)
