The guy in Iron and Wine has a creepy beard... Really.

I haven't heard [much that I know of by] Regina Spektor, but I love Camille. You might not be able to find much of theirs online, but I might be able to send you some if you get on MSN, you may like Venus Hum. They are a small ban from Nashville. They're techno based, but they do use guitars on their newest album. She has a beautiful voice. I'm not completely sure if you would go for that... but it's something! And not main stream.
