A question on posting art

I have been trying for weeks to put up some of my artwork....but it never works. I follow what the directions are but I need some help on posting some art.

What about it isn't working? Maybe I can help you out :)

I'm tempted to move this somewhere, because it doesn't really belong here, but I don't know where I would put it. XD oh well, I suppose it can stay here!

When I pasted the file on, I decided to preview it before I posted it. But all that came up was the url, the image directions, and the file. And I had a great piece of work I wanted to share with yws :)

hmmm....


Well, I suppose I'll just run through this:

1. is the picture hosted on your own server? Like Photobucket or Flickr?

2. Are you typing the right code for the image? [*img] img URL here [/*img]? (not * in the code!!)

That is what you have posted. What you need to do is go to one of the sites I mentioned above, sign up and get an account, then upload your image to the internet. also, the code you are using is a little wrong but first of all that is the biggest problem XD

So go to one of the websites, and do that first. :)
