The Prose! THE PROSE!!
Is it just me, or is there a vastly superior number of poetry submissions over prose?
Develop a plot people! Characters, a protagonist that we root for, twists, and a bit with a puppy!

Ok, I'm done.
Beware of the scary banana fingers! For they are mushy, and yellow.

Its a line from hunchback of notre dam. The bells then, would be the cathedral tower bells that he was responsible for ringing.

Prose is often longer than poetry - could that be it?

(look, I don't really write poetry, so don't know how long it takes to write)
I wrote the above just for you.
