Hello YWS! I hope your new year is being fantastic. And just to make it that much more fantastic, YWS will be having : The Great Reviewing Workshop of January . It's a new year, there are lots of new faces on YWS, and lots of new shiny poetry and fiction. And, to complete that cycle, we're going to have a review workshop geared towards a discussion on general reviewing ideas hosted by your truly, the YWS mod crew. What - Workshop on understanding the basics of reviewing be it poetry or fiction - Discussion on YWS reviews and strategies. Where - This event will be hosted in a googleDocuments, and you shall be PMed a link later. Who can join this party Whether you're new among our ranks, looking to understand the process of reviewing on YWS and perhaps, meeting some of the other YWS members, or a seasoned member looking for some pointers, everyone is welcome. And, don't forget to spread the words to your fellow friends! When Saturday, 26th January, 2013 Time 10:00 PM GMT . That is, 2 hours before midnight in London. Please do use this awesome time zone converter because it has come to mu knowledge that Lava has very limited understanding of timezones. Other time zones (which is at best, a good guesstimate): USA EST Saturday, Jan 26th, 5:00:00 PM CST Saturday, Jan 26th, 4:00:00 PM MST Saturday, Jan 26th, 3:00:00 PM PST Saturday, Jan 26th, 2:00:00 PM AUSTRALIA WST Sunday, Jan 27th, 6:00:00 AM CST Sunday, Jan 27th, 7:30:00 AM EST Sunday, Jan 27th, 9:00:00 AM (There's some DST going on, I think) INDIA Sunday, Jan 27th, 3:30:00 AM It will run for 90 minutes all together. ~~ The workshop is not about genre-specific reviewing. It is not about teaching you to review. It is simply a discussion on reviewing, the general strategies that can be followed while reviewing, and how to get that 100-point review. Whether you review prose or poetry, this workshop will be a great place to come share your ideas, read other YWSers' reviewing ideas and most of all, have a great time with other YWSers.
