I like writing about cats. But how exactly do you tell a story with them that hasn't been done before?

What do you mean, exactly? *scratches head*
Like how not to write a clichéd cat story?

I'm not sure. If you have an idea that seems too predictable, or it seems like you've read something like it before, then chances are that it's cliché. I was unsure about my own novel so I make a topic for help in Writers Corner, and so far I've gotten lots of great advice.

I guess you just have to be original. Besides, if you have a clichéd story, you can always post it here on YWS for feedback.

Have one where they don't talk, and don't do anthropomorphic things, like laughing, shaking their heads, getting in relationships, and all that jazz.

When I think cats, it makes me want to write something exactly the same as the Warriors series by Erin Hunter (which is about feral cats that have communities and live in a forest).

Er... just write about whatever you want. As long as you love what you're doing, it'll be okay in the end. :D

Thanks guys. And yeah, I love Warriors.

I do have one idea. I'll show you as I post "Marcus and Mica." You'll have to wait to find out.
