hey everyone, just need a little help here with my writing...........
I currently have the worst case of writers block that i have ever had to deal with...the really weird part is though, that I have all these ideas, but I can't put them down on paper...and on the very very rare occasion that I can, they disappear subsequently...
Anyone got ideas or help for me???????????
Much needed and appreciated!!

I would put that in Tips and Discussion, not storybooks, if I were you.

Since you happened to put this in storybooks, there's an idea.
These rpg story things help a lot. Try thinking of a starting idea, and then a single character. Write whatever comes to mind. It doesn't have to be brilliant or post-worthy. My worst writers blocks are a result of trying too hard.
Hope this helps.

PM a mod (the ones with dark green names - try Claudette or Snoink or someone else) and they'll lock this thread for you.

Look around this forum, and you'll see what a storybook is. :)

Yes, I agree with kokobeans, sometimes when I try too hard, I blank out! Sometimes it's better to just stop writing for a few days and nothing think about the story..

I don't know about you but whenever I have writer's block, it's always frustrating because sudden bursts of inspiration occur randomly (ex: sitting in the metro, eating, walking) and almost always I never have a pen. Here's another thing though, when I do have a pen, my mind goes blank....argh, it's so hard!

Music seems to be good therapy when I have a wb.

But, just fight through it!!! I know it's hard!

Hope this helped,
