Okay, I'm a girl trying to write a novel from a guy's POV. I can't seem to get into his head though. Any tips? Stuff I should try to remember when writing?

Also, one of my important characters is a total player. I'm sure few of the guys here on YWS are like that, but are there any tips you can give me?
Alcohol, Tobacco, & Firearms should be a convenience store, not a government agency.
