Armageddon
No day has ever harbored so much mystery as this day,
When the tides of life crash against the celestial coast.
Life is no more
Death is no more
But the vacancy between teems with crystal,
Eternally flowing.
Devoured by darkness, this great fate.
Encompassed by light, this great destiny.
All that is,
Has been,
And will be
Takes one final bow
and collapses
Into the everlasting.
Light and darkness split
Never again to be a part
Of one another.
The light is not dim or mellow
But blazes with the fires of the perished people
Of every nation.
The darkness masks distortion
Feeding the maniacal souls,
Tortured,
Who forgot to grasp feebly for the light,
When the light had come.
And those in the light,
So immaculate and radiant,
Curse the fiends
And dance in Zion
Licking the clouds with timid feet
crown upon brow,
Rejoicing in the stars and seas and moors.
Rejoicing for the dawning
of immortality.
