Hello!

I'm Kelly, and I'd just like to say I'm very happy to be here. I actually signed up for YWS a long time ago, but I was too afraid to actually post anything. I would just watch everyone else post their work and worry that I could never equal it. I've been thinking about dying lately, and about the fact that one day I won't have this opportunity. So I decided I should just cast my fear aside and finally do what I wanted, and I did!

Thanks,

Kelly

Hi I am SimonCowellLuver also known as SCL or just Simon. It doesn't matter to me. Welcome to the best site ever YWS!!!! :smt006

Here are a few rules :smt024
1 2:1 ratio which is when you post a writing you must write 2 reviews
2 no caps Pretty self explanatory
3 No chat speak for example lol or ttyl
4 Rate your work like PG or R(cursing)
5 Be respectful

That is simple enough. Most importantly have fun! :smt026

If you have any questions feel free to PM me anytime

Thanks

Hi there Kelly! Welcome to YWS. I'm Conrad Rice, one of the instructors here. You can tell who we are because we have purple names. If you ever have a problem with your writing, just PM one of us and we'll be more than happy to help you out.

Don't worry about being as good as everyone else here. Good is a relative definition anyways. No matter what skill level you are at, rest assured that we will do everything we can to help you improve your writing.

If you need anything, just send me a PM and I'll be happy to help. Have fun, and good luck.

Hi Kelly! :]

I'm also sort of new - I just signed up a month ago.

Still, I've learned a lot and if there's anything I can help with (or if you ever need me to review any of your works) I'll gladly offer my assistance. =)

As the deathbed whereon it must expire,
Consumed by that which it was nourished by.

Hey Kelly!

I'm so glad that you faced your fear and decided to write and post things on the YWS site! I just want you to know that you are completely welcome here. I want everyone to feel safe and welcome to post writing pieces on the site without the fear of being trampled by reviewers. True, there are plenty of reviewers who will rip your writing to shreds (take it from me, I've experienced it), but even if it seems like it's only negative, in reality it is extremely helpful. I have grown to understand certain writing styles better through reviewer's comments. :D

I hope you come to find that YWS is a fun website!

PM me if you have any questions.

Always,

Forever.

Besides, if you want perfection, write a haiku. Anything longer is bound to have some passages that don't work as well as they might.
