Hey, I'm Massie and obviously im new here
I joined this forum because my friend is too shy
to post her own story. so i'm doing it for her.

I have no idea what to do so can anyone give
me a brief summary of the rules? thanks!

Welcome to YWS.

We only have a few rules here:

1. Please keep a 2:1 ratio on your reviews. for every piece of writing you post, review two others. this keeps everyone happy, and the more work you review, the more likely you are to recieve a review in return.

2. Rate your work: r for language, PG13 for explicit scenes etc.

3. No textspeak, please. We're all writers here. Bad grammar bugs us, but the textspeak is worse. We also hate BLOCK CAPS.


Thats all I was told when I stumbled across this site about a year ago.

Let’s see… I’ll tell you about the colors.

If you notice, some people’s names are colored. This is because they have jobs on YWS.

Blue: Greeters. They welcome newbies like yourself.
Purple: Instructors. They critic you work. They fix mistakes and tell you how to make it even better!
Dark Green: Moderators. (Or just Mods.) They take care of the forums.
Light Green: Junior Mods. They’re little Mods. They take care of certain forums.
Red: Admins. They take care of YWS and make sure it’s running smoothly.
Orange. Distinguished Members. They’re retired Admins.


Aww, why is your friend so shy? Dose she think her work is bad? I can’t wait to read it!
