Hi Everyone.
I could say I'm new, but then I would be saying unnecessary words. So I won't. Lol.

I'm TrueBlueWriter, & this is my first post.
My passion is poetry, so I hope I am able to share my poems to you guys.

Talk To Ya Later.

P.S. If you didn't guess, i'm new.

Awesome! I love poetry. And yes, life is very funny. :D

Also, of course you are new! You seem to have adapted yourself well to the whole bold thing. It took me so long to figure out how in the world to italicize and bold things. Especially quoting. That confused me deeply.

Well! Before I say much else, why don't I lay down the ground rules for you?

:arrow: No chat speak. Lol is fine and brb, and I'm not sure about the rest, but normally when you're new they cut you bunches of slack. So! No worries. Just don't go omg lol tgif insane okay? :lol:

:arrow: Rate your works. When submitting a writing piece, you have the option to rate them G, PG, Pg-13, or R. If it has strong language, adult situations, or even nothing like that, rate it! If you rate it, then people know what they are sticking their eyeballs in, and the piece of writing shows up on the front page! That might even get you more reviews, and who doesn't want that? ;)

:arrow: Here, we have a 2:1 ratio. That means when you submit one of your pieces, you must review two other people's pieces. That way, everyone gets reviewed and your points stay up.

Points are essential to YWS for they help determine the Featured Member (picked once every 2 weeks, or somewhere around that. The person who helps out most at YWS for that time.) and they also are for limiting the submission of stories and/ or poetry without reviewing. Posting in certain forums and reviews gets you points, depending on how long the message is! For instance, I am getting points for greeting you right now.

Well, now that I have explained points and the rules, I can ask you some questions. Hopefully you won't mind :)

What is your favorite genre to read? To write?
Favorite food? (spaghetti is mine :P )
What is your favorite book/ book series?
Any favorite authors?
Any good books recently?

I think that's about all I have to say! I hope to see you around!

Psh, no problem!
And I think it would be more appropriate if I was the one that said;
PM me if you need any help with anything!

Haha, so I'll just say it now;

Hey, I like writing drama too. :) So, maybe you noticed that some people on YWS have colored user names. Here's a little guide:

:arrow: Black: Normal members, like you.

:arrow: Blue: Greeters, they help new members get around the site and answer their questions.

:arrow: Purple: Instructors, they give the best, most in-depth reviews.

:arrow: Light Green: Junior moderators, they moderate some forums.

:arrow: Dark Green: Moderators, they moderate all forums.

:arrow: Red: Site administrators, they keep the site running smoothly.

:arrow: Orange: They are distinguished members, retired moderators.

So, yeah. Feel free to PM me with questions. Have fun on YWS!

So, more questions for you. Yay!

What kind of music do you listen to?
What are your favorite bands?
Watch any good movies lately?

Welcome to YWS, and again, have fun!

^ What Jack said XD Welcome to the site, I hope you'll stick around and enjoy your stay here. If you need help with anything, navigating the site or review-wise, then feel free to send me a pm =)

Also, you might want to check out the Buddy system, just follow the link in my signature if you want to find out more but basically it gives you the opportunity to have one of our mentors show you around the site, critique your work and generally help you get settled in and meet other members.
