Hey writings! Welcome to YWS. I'm Kat, nice to meet you ^^
I'll explain the rules to you.
1. We have a 2:1 ratio when it comes to posting works. It means you should do two reviews for every work of yours you post.
2. Keep chat speak and capitalizing to a minimal. At some point, people won't understand you.
3. Rate your works. Rated works will appear on the front pages. If your work has strong language, adult themes or so, please rate it as R. Posts rated R will not appear on the front page, but will prevent our younger crowd from reading something they shouldn't.
If you have looked around, you may have noticed that some users have their names colored. Well, that's because they have jobs.
Blue - Greeters. They welcome the newbies.
Purple - Instructors. they answer your questions and give the most constructive reviews.
Light and dark green - They are Junior Moderators and Moderators. Their job is to overview the greeters and Instructors job and to direct civil discussions, and such.
Red - Administrators. They keep the site running smoothly.
Orange - Basically retired Administrators and Mods.
And then there's the black names, like ours, that are, well, hum... nothing -_-'
Tell us more about yourself!
See you around PM me if you need anything!

Piglet: How do you spell love? Pooh: You don't spell it. You feel it.
1.) You may not use chat-speak or CAPS, like *writewatiwant* said, but you may use term abbreviations like POV, MC and the classic lol.
2.) Do not "flood" the boards with your work. This means don't post a bunch of chapters all at once. This is inconsiderate to other members and people won't review your work.
So tell us a bit more about yourself!
~ What do you enjoy reading?
~ What is your favorite genre?
~ Do you have a favorite movie?
~ Who is your favorite author?
If you have a question or would like a review, feel free to PM me.

Ink is blood. Paper is bandages. The wounded press books to their heart to know they're not alone.
Woa, lossa welcomes. Oops! Bad grammar! Sorry! *Cough*, I mean, Wow, would you look at all those welcomes! Hahahahaha, wait, what's the proper way to laugh? No, really, I'm all curious now. How do you properly laugh?
"lol" is just fine, as is "rolf" and all the other laughing abbreviations. Term abbreviations are just fine, and some stuff like lotsa is fine. (YWSers tend to type the way we talk). It's just stuff like "gr8" for great and "2" for two, too or to that drive us up the wall.
Might I suggest starting your own welcome thread xX_white_shadow_Xx? You'll get more replies. ^_^
