Hello I'm Jonathan, call me Saint! I'm a young 13 year old fantasy writer, and my goal is to be better then J.R Tolkien or any other famous Fantasy Writer! My hobbies are reading manga's like naruto or watching anime's! I also love playing basketball too! Lately, I've been trying to write my first fantasy bookA! If you want to know about it I'll be happy to tell you!
Sure you don't want to be a greeter Sakura? You did a good job of explaining the rules there. ^_^
I just want to point out the two big ones: the 2:1 ratio (reviewing two works for every one you post. It's asked you keep that at all times) and no chat-speak. That means proper grammar, spelling and caps. Some abbreviations are okay (poke around to see which ones are used) but don't overdo it.
Something you might want to check out are the wonderful usergroups found under the Groups button in the header. There are plenty of fantasy ones and at least one manga/anime group, so join up and meet people with the same interest!
I am one of the Greeters Sakura mentioned. My job is to make you feel right at home and answer questions you have about YWS! If you need more advanced help, mods and admins are those you contact, but a greeter should be able to help you.
Yes, please do tell us about your book!
What are your favourite authors and books?
PM me if you need anything!
A writer is a world trapped in a person— Victor Hugo
Ink is blood. Paper is bandages. The wounded press books to their heart to know they're not alone.
Hey there, Jonathan! Or Saint, if you prefer me to call you that.
Seems like everyone's been beating me to the punchline lately.
So there's no need for me to explain the rules to you.
With tons of effort and dedication,
I'm sure you'll be able to surpass Tolkein someday,
Just keep working at it
And while you're at it, the YWS family is here to help you along the way!
Looks like YWS has been getting a flood of new male writers nowadays.
Good, maybe this will balance the overpowering number of us females here XD
Anyway, feel free to PM for anything, including nonsensical babble like 'asnkjacbevgolrvhiesfbcb'.
I hope you like it here!
See you (skulking) around (the fantasy fiction section) !

I can see that the rules have been taken care of mostly. Welcome to the Yws family.
Run while you still can! YWS can get so addictive that it bacomes mandatory to get on everyday. I know that I do mostly.
So you write fantasy too? Thats great. Thats what I write mostly, although I'm trying to try out different things. With hard work I'm sure that you can surpass Tolkien. Although, I don't view him as the best. But thats just me.
Well, if you have any questions or need any help, pm me. I'll be happy to help you out.
