I'm a happy person. I'm also an optimist, and tend to get deep and philosophical at times. I also think I'm rather good at analyzing things
I could imagine myself as a psychologist, but at the moment it's not where my passion lies.
In the future, I'm pretty sure I have to choose between going to drama school and going to university to study English and/or journalism. I'm not happy at all that I have to make the decision, because I want to do both so badly. I've always wanted to be an actress, but I've also always wanted to be an author-journalist, and I probably won't have the time for both – especially when I'd like to study acting in UK so I could become a musical actress.

Random facts about me:
- There are three black-and-white pictures of Audrey Hepburn on the walls of my room.
- No matter how clean my room is at times, it's always back to messy in a couple of days.
- My mom and I have a somewhat similar taste of clothes: I often loan her things.
- When I was in 8th grade, there wasn't a day when I wasn't wearing a bandanna as a headband.
- At the moment, I'm listening to "One Man, One Woman" by ABBA.
- I can list all the United States and their capitals by heart.
- I never throw train tickets away.
- I have several foreign pen pals.
- Keira Knightley is my absolute non-favourite actress.
- I have an earring addiction. I'm very, very rarely seen without wearing a pair.
Random things I love:
- When I'm at a shoe shop and there's a whole shelf full of different coloured Converse sneakers.
- When someone puts an arm around me.
- Fancy dresses. There's really a princessy side to me, though I usually wear jeans.
- Coming home from the Christmas church and discovering the big sack of presents waiting at our back door...
- Earrings – and making them. I've made them from, inter alia, Barbie shoes, candies, diary keys...
- Writing and receiving letters.
- Maps. I have a big map of Ireland on my wall.
- The London Tube Map.
- The Andy Warhol pop art style.
- Alexander Rybak.
- Blueberry pie!
My vices:
- Curiosity – I'm almost nosey.
- Jealousy. Let's just say it has always something to do with the opposite gender.

And lastly: Why my name is Demeter? Well, Demeter is the name of the oldest baobab tree in Zimbabwe, and I'm half Zimbabwean, so... yeah.
Just kidding. Demeter's actually my favourite character in the musical Cats, as I may have told to some of you. I'm 100% Finnish, and I have no idea whether there are baobabs in Zimbabwe. Gotcha.
