Max McKali says...

hey, i guess i don't have much to say. Max is an old name given to me by a friend, so it has been adopted as my "pen name". i'm currently trying to write a fantasy novel. it's going slowly, as i'm really terrible at staying focused. i wish i could use ADD as an excuse, but i think i'm just lazy. anyways, i love to read, (i read a lot) fantasy is my favorite but i really enjoy historical fiction. i have a thing for pirates (not a stupid girly thing, i genuinely find pirates interesting.) grace o'malley is my favorite, but fancis drake has a certain appeal as well. once again i'm procrastinating. i'm supposed to be writing a DBQ for U.S. history atm. so i'll be going for now. i love forus and all my favorites are dying out, i'm hoping to be around for a while.

Hullo Max!...and welcome of course. ^_^

YWS has no intention of dying out--it's got a rather never-say-die community base.^_^ 'Hope you'll be around for long time.

If you've got questions, naturally, the FAQ can be helpful; so are all the mods and greeters (Cassandra, for example).

Loving to read, fantasy novel and pirates -- you can't go wrong here. ^_~

I agree with Cassandra... whoever invented DBQs was a sadist. Is a sadist. I dunno. Still alive?

Anyway, yes, hi Max! Soy Fand. PIRATES ROCK!

Ooh... pirates. Loved the whole Jack Sparrow thing, hehe.

Just one question though... what's a DBQ? Another american thing that I haven't been told about, I guess... unless I'm just being insanely stupid after having not enough sleep.

Anyways, welcome and feel free to message me for any reason what-so-ever. :)

Francis Drake = pirate
:O Never! Legitimate privateer was our boy Frankie.

Still, I see where you're coming from! :D

what's a DBQ?

I was thinking "DiaBolical Quiz", but probably 'Document-Based Question' is more likely - essay/questions answered through a combination of given sources and your own knowledge.
