Hello everyone! I'm new here and would like to gives this site a shot! Hope to see all of you around!

Hi gluaxspeed and welcome to YWS! This is an interesting day to come around since today is Review Day! Every so often, a day is scheduled for us to go review as many works as possible (our goal is 650 today). No one is allowed to submit new works during this time (in case you were wondering about that). Although you can't join a team anymore, any review you do will count towards the total. I encourage you to go and read what's out there. This will give you a sense of what people are writing and you'll see a lot of quality reviews. I also encourage you to check out the Critique Tutorials in the Knowledge Base to improve your critiquing skills.

Lastly, since you're a new member, it's tradition for me to give you a gift! Happy reviewing and enjoy the site!

Hello everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(FYI: I created a weblog with this exact same post, but it is of high importance, so I wanted to post is else where as well. I think this is a perfect place to do so. So please continue reading!!!)

I am relatiely new to this site. I would like to introduce myself and clear up some questions and concerns about my identity.

My name is Rylie and I'm almost 23 years old. I am a writer and a poet and a philospher, and a debater, and an overall fun person. I like to sing, dance, read, converse with others, do volunteer work, and I want to make the world a better place. I am accepting when it comes to diversity and I strive to always be respectful and considerate of others. It is never my intention to demean, offend, or make anyone feel bad. I am all about maintaining a positive outlook on life and being the best person I can be.

With that being said, I have faced several blatant and rude accusations that I am not who I claim to be. I don't really understand where this is coming from or how I've given anyone the impression that I am anyone other than the person that I claim to be. I have been nothing but kind, friendly, and sociable, and accepting of everyone that I have met so far on this site. Therefore, when people randomly accuse me of being someone else, it really hurts me. I have done nothing wrong and I have done nothing to make people think I am someone different than the person that I claim to be. So really, there is absolutely no excuse or reason for people of YWS to treat me with anything than the utmost consideration, kindess, and respect. I have been nothing but friendly and cooperative to YWS folks and YWS rules/policies/guidelines. I don't think it's too much to ask for the same kindness and respect in return.

In conclusion, I am new to this site and I was told that it is a great site and that everyone that is a part of the YWS is very kind, friendly, helpful, respectful, and talented. If all these things are, indeed, the case here, then I am honored to be part of such a wonderful group of people and I think I will enjoy my time with you guys very much!!!! However, if people are unfriendly, unhelpful, disrespectful, and continue to attack me with false accusations, then I will just leave YWS. I would like to find a place of belonging here at YWS, but if I am disliked, disrespected, and unwanted, then there is really no point of me staying on this site. I was to emphasize that there are some people on YWS who have been very nice and respectful--so I'm not pointing fingers at the entire YWS community. But there have been a number of people who not been very kind or respectful, which is why I feel that this message is well warrented.

So basically, that's my spiel and if you have any comments, thoughts, or questions, please let me know If I have not yet met you, please introduce yourself! I'm a people person and I just love meeting new people!

Ah, yes. Everyone here is very friendly, and talented! But if someone has been disrespectful to you, you could always just report them :3 You don't have to leave! But if you deem it fit, then very well! I hope, though, that you stay here for a long time, and make a lot of new friends!

Hi, I have only been on here for a few days but I have found YWS to be a great, helpful, fun and safe place for writers to post some of there work. The people I have met so far have been SO welcoming to me and I appreciate a lot, its hard for a new writer to put his or her writing in a place were people will post their opinion about whether it be good or bad. I love to read and write. I play the trumpet, piano and guitar. I love to travel and am known to be a very funny person. Right now I have a novel that you might want to go out and review. It's called Yank and it is a comedy about a boy named Jessie who has just moved to Britain to live with his aunt after his father died and his mother abandoned him. I am open to any and all constructive criticism and I love to review other peoples work so if you have something you want me to review, feel free to message me or whatever.

I just wanted to introduce myself. Just call me steph, it makes life easier. Please be patient with me I'm super rusty. I have done any writing in a few years. Message me to talk more.
