Hey All!

Hi everyone. I'm theCHRISTO, but I don't mind being called Chris, or Chrissy, or whatever you prefer. I am completely new to this site and I hope to be able to read other people's work and hopefully find the time to publish some of my own work too.

Fist of all, basics about me. I am 13, male, and from South-East Asia. I migrated when I was three. I enjoyed writing stories, even when I was young; though, my stories were far more rudimentary back then, as one would expect.

I've always liked writing, and creating characters and an entire world, for me to play around and basically do whatever I want with it.

I currently do not do a lot related to writing or making stories. I don't have much time, to be honest, but I'm hoping to change all that.

I wanted to join the YWS because I wanted to show people my work, receive constructive criticism from other writers. I also came here to see the wonderful works that other young writers such as myself have produced.

Well, that's enough about me. I think I'll leave it there.

I hope to become well acquainted with many of you here.

I'm sure you'll find a good amount of constructive criticism on YWS. We tend to follow the 'the more you review, the more you are reviewed'. It isn't a rule, of course, just courteous forum usage.

As Twit already mentioned, critiques is what YWS does best and if you ever need one, you can always PM me or even click on the link at the bottom of my signature in this post to request a review from my thread.

Additionally, YWS is pretty easy to navigate; however, if you have troubles you can always contact someone in green (Junior mods), dark green (Global mods), and red (Admins). We'll all be happy to help you out.

You made a good decision of joining YWS because after reading other people's work you'll be so pumped up that you won't be able to stop yourself from writing. And your problem not getting time to write would just vanish.

The best way to know and interact with people is by reviewing their work. You'll learn a lot from reviewing.

Besides that, you could enter chat to know more people.

It's awesome that you look forward to some constructive criticism since it would take you a long way.

Just enjoy yourself and write like mad. It's going to be a fun journey. And as Pink said, you could contact people in green, dark green or red for any help.
