Hey everyone!(: I'm BookWorm2011 and I am a young writer at the age of thirteen. That might be a bit personal but it's all good because after all I am pretty certain there aren't any stalkers in the Young Writers Society(: . Anyways. If you guys can give me any tips on how to follow people, get followed and how to get a ton of views would be greatly appreciated

It's so easy, you would visit the profile of any of the members here and follow them.. or as you can see under your profile [ Follow BookWorm2011 ], you will find that quite the same with everyone else. If you follow anybody, you would see their latest posts by clicking on the 'feedback' on your profile page. Hope that I might have helped

I'm confused. You said you were thirteen, but your profile says you're actually fifteen? You can edit your age in "MyYWS" -> Edit Your Profile Section.

YWS is on the safe side of things, but incidents have occurred in the past. Those incidents can be avoided simply by following a few simple rules. You should check out this Internet Safety Guide for more information.

The trick to getting noticed on YWS isn't really that hard. All you need to do is review the stories of other people. When you write a review, the author you're reviewing for often feels compelled to return the favor. If nothing else, they'll recognize your name when you post something, so they'll be more likely to give it a look.

If you need any help getting around YWS, just shoot me a PM and I'll help you out.

Welcome to the community! I think you will definitely love this site! It's my favorite writing website ever (which is good, since I'm joined on four different writing sites)! It's the most helpful, as well. If you're looking to improve your skills in writing, then this is the best place to be. The reviews are very very detailed and helpful and everyone here is just so friendly and welcoming.

As for the "how to get followers" question, there are many people on this site who enjoy following people that review their works thoroughly, as well as people that follow you if you follow them. It's easy to get noticed here on, YWS hahaha especially if your reviews are helpful and well thought out.

So, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me! Been here for a few months, and I'm already super used to everything here. There are also people with names in red, dark green, and light green that can help you (probably better) haha those are the mods and admins on this site.

The best way to get to know people is to review. People are always more willing to review something of yours if you review theirs.
If you want some help getting to know the site, you can get a mentor from The Buddy System. A mentor will show you around, answer questions you may have, review your work for a period of one month. 'Tis great fun.
