Hi, I'm Ayra! It always takes me a while to write an introduction... so here it goes! :)

I love to write realistic fiction based on my life. Every time I read a book with a sweet ending, I shake my head. For example, what would of happened if Cinderella's glass slipper broke when it fell off? Would she still be living with her evil stepmother? And what about those old cartoons where everything's okay as long as you make it back home before dinner? Life isn't always as sweet as it seems in most novels, which is where my bitter-ish and cold writing style comes from.

Sorry for the whole rant... I'd just really like to share my opinions. Thanks for taking your time to read.

Hello Ayra!

We love opinions here, as long as it's not too nasty.

I agree that most novels seem to be more idealistic than real life, but isn't that often what a novel is? An author's ideal world? Anyway, I won't get into a discussion here.

What do you like besides writing/reading? Sports? Music?
We've stayed until the very end.
This is real for us.

Hello, ayra! Nice reading that. It wasn't a rant, really. =P So I can see that you're more of an emo kinda writer? xD You're right about Cinderella and the other fairytales. They're kind far from reality here on earth. I believe in poetic justice though. Welcome to the site by the way! =)

I'm far from emo. xD I really like to just state my opinions on subjects, that's all. :)

I have a new favorite song every day, and usually it's off the Top 40. I'm a teenage pop junky. :P

I love to run, play tennis and play softball.

And, I don't want to start an argument here, but I prefer to keep reading real. Just saying my opinion. :)

Welcome to YWS Ayra!
I'm shiney1, but people call me shiney or shiny.

I like the new view on the Cinderella thing, that is some perseptive thinhkinh there, which means you are a great writer!
I have the realistic outlook on life myself, not all that fake happy-go-lucky, but I am into fiction :)

I'm sure you will like it here!

Hey there, welcome to YWS!

I hope you like it here, writing is all about twisting things around from the norm and writing stories that speak. If you like writing bitter stories, that's cool too. There aren't always happy endings but happy endings are just nice to see. Some people have a hard time looking another way and seeing the bad side.

Anyway, if you need a review from me, just drop me a message and I'll be happy to provide. Also, if you have any questions about the site then feel free to ask me or anyone in green! They'll be more than happy to answer any questions.

The site can be kind of tricky sometimes. ;)

Have fun and stay active!

Ooers! You seem to love twisting stories around and asking questions about everything. Critical thinking... I like it. Do you do spin-offs of fairy tales, or is that just something that just randomly bugs you? :)

Also, welcome to YWS! If you need anything, you can bug me and I'll do my best to help you. :)

Hiya Ayra and welcome to YWS!! :D

It's great to have new people come on here and share their opinions and twists and own original ideas. Personally, I love happy endings because they're different from real life. I think that since life doesn't always have happy endings, then stories should at least have a happily ever after. If everything had a depressing, realistic, ending, then I think stories wouldn't be as fun to read. I'm not very good with sad things, it's one of the reasons I hate the Titanic XP

But that's my opinion, and I like the way you twisted Cinderella like that. I never actually thought of that. I always thought it was strange how she was wearing a glass slipper and it never broke, but I never actually gave a thought to if it HAD actually broke. Although, I did read a creepy Cinderella O.e it was like... the shoes didn't fit the step sister, so she cut off her heals..... and then the prince noticed the blood and went back and the second step sister did the same thing, and then he went back again and then Cinderella's foot fit.... It was creepy but I can't remember where I read it XD

But anyway, welcome to YWS and I hope you have a good time writing here! :)
