Hi, My name is Anna and I'm Icelandic! I love reading and writing, seeing as I've joined this site its not a surprise is it (:
I have only recently started writing stories in English. That is mostly because now almost all the books I read are in English. English books translated to Icelandic have a whole different feeling to it than the original books. I don't think its the translators fault just that the languages have a different feeling/sound/something to them.... Hmm
My biggest concern is the language thing, I'll really try my best to not cause any spelling or grammar disasters(Be glad you don't have to hear my horrid accent!). I wont be offended or anything if you point out my grammar/spelling errors, doing that is the whole point of this site.
Anyway, I'm off to try and figure this site out! :D

Kær Kveðja, Anna Jarðardóttir (:

Hi! Welcome to the site!
That's awesome that you're from Iceland... I live in Prague, and go to an international school, so I've met people from all over the world- but I've never known anyone from Iceland. :)

I hope that you have a great experience on the site... if you have any questions about English or the site or anything, feel free to ask me. :)

Hi Anna! Welcome to the Young Writers' Society! It's okay if English isn't your best; that's what the site is for! It's so cool that you're from Iceland, and it must be awesome to be able to speak multiple languages. I hope you have a good time here!

That is awesome my name is Anna too! That is so cool that you are from island. This actually the perfect place to put up your work because we will help you with your grammar. There are are people on here from tons of different places so are used to people having to translate into English. Right now I am learning Spanish and I find that really hard so I can't even imagine how long it must have taken to start to write stories in a different language!

What kind of stories do you write? Do you write anything besides that? Poetry maybe... I look forward to seeing your work around the site.

The best way to start to know your way around is to explore like you are. But, if you have any questions just P.M. me.

A. S.

My reality comes to a close as I once again realize that you don't love me, and even if I love you with my everything you will never care.

Thanks for the warm welcome :)
I've been asked more than 1s if I live in an igloo or if any volcanoes are in my town(there is but its like 'dead' for now)..
I like writing all kinds of things, but the only thing I end up finishing are fantasy stories and well fairy tales for my two younger sisters.
My other passion is drawing, I always draw my characters and I've found that to be surprisingly helpful.
Again thank you all, I'm sure I'll learn allot from all of you!
