Try listening to some Irish music. It might get the creative juices flowing!

Go on youtube and look up the Fields of Athenry, Finnegans Wake, and other songs like that.

Hi Celtic Music Girl! I'm Kat, nice to meet you.

I'm not gonna bug you much, but please check The Rules.

So, I don't know much about Ireland, but I have three advices for you:

1. I know a member here that's from Ireland, that I'm sure will be happy to help you. Check Stella Thoma's profile.

2. I've been inspiring myself on videos from this site Duirway films, and they have beautiful videos with Celtic music.

3. I have a site of a Celtic music artist, which I like, that I think might help you: Martine Lund.

That's all I can say! You might want to check the Lyrics forum (click on the button at the top of the page that says 'Writing' and select 'read and review'. That will take you to literature forums, where if you scroll down you'll find the Lyrics forum).

Questions or need help? PM me.

No, it's not that you didn't succeed. You accomplished a lot, but, if you want to touch people, don't concentrate so much on rhyme and metre. Think more about what you want to say instead of how you're saying it.
