Yes, I did just preface my introductory post with a "your mom" joke. That's just the sort of person I am. Stupid humor appeals almost as much as intelligent humor (though far too much of the latter zooms straight over my head). Anyway, introduction, si?

You can call me Puddles or Angie, whichever appeals most. The name comes from a childhood penchant for, as it says, jumping over puddles. Being rather short I almost never made it across but, eh, oh well. Splashing is just as fun! (And messier, teehee.)

In any event--yes. Puddles, 18, lifelong Manhattanite, Latina and proud of it (though my Spanish is godawful), writer of terrrrrible poetry. I've got a taste for prose, too, though it's usually really dark and twisted.

Anyway, I'd been ghosting around this site for a while, and finally decided to take the plunge and make an account. Asi, hola!
and don't get me wrong, dear, in general I'm doing just fine

Hey! Welcome. Why can't I think of anything better to say? :S

If you ever decide to write a dark and twisted fantasy novel, I might see you around. Otherwise ... maybe not.

Did you ever try getting a running start? Though I suppose that would hardly constitute a 'hop'... but still...

At any rate [fun factoid: the rate of 'any' is in fact 42 m/s] welcome to YWS.

backwards, that's dE. Though if you adjusted the punctuation accordingly, it'd be De.
