Welcome!

And yeah, publishing it online means that you've published it. But that's not necessarily a bad thing, because if you get someone to critique your work, then you'll hopefully get better and be able to publish. Thus, the inherent beauty (confusion) of it all!

But you can always take it down after you revise. ;)

I've heard about the "posting-counts-as-publishing" loophole thingummy before - I've seen a lot of really amazing writers have to take their work down because they wanted to get published.
