Haha! This is excellent.

I'm Ben by the way!

I have to say the simplicity of your character has a fabulous effect and the colours are hsaded to feature his clothes perfectly. It's like a slick cartoon and I adore that vision of him turning around and doing something totally out of the ordinary as if s/he were a guest role in Family Guy or something.
His/her cheeky face is a real smile moment because it's got that menacing touch that works beautifully on anime.

Nit-picks...
To be honest, I can't figure out what he's holding behind his back and it's sort of frustrating because the rest of the image is so well crafted. I think you should totally remove it, or edit the features of it to make it look more obvious.

Another thing I have a suggestion for is sticking something in the background, but try and keep it as simple as possible so it doesn't worsen the picture. It's just I feel it's a bit of a waste as this menacing cartoon character with a given background could create a painted plot for the viewer of your work.

Program
Microsoft Paint always makes me laugh and I'm happy when people create good works from it, but I can't see why you'd use it. Splashup Beta is okay, but again I could think of a few better options... Saying that, I think the fact you've used these programmes has resulted in the simplicity that makes your work so good, so I'd definately urge you to keep experimenting with them.

Time
For the time you've taken to do this, I'd say very well done. However, try looking over your art and seeing if you could improve it or just mess about and experiment creating loads of saved copies, you know? Have a play with it.

Overall
Brilliant.

-> Hope this helps. Ben.

43 minutes with a laptop touch pad?! That's amazing! Wonderfully done! I think this is perfect in all it's cartoon-like glory. It's really incredible. The shirt looks a little blank, and I'd suggest highlighting and buttons, and his knee seems a bit low on his leg, almost as if it should be higher or something. It looks a little awkward, like his leg's broken. ;D

Anyway, wonderful drawing. I'm really impressed.

This is nice. I like the cartoon look to it. Haha, 43 minutes...whoo. You're a fast worker and apparently you can make good use of little time! That is phenomenal.
I really like this...wonderful, wonderful job here. Keep it up, and I hope to see more!

Hello, I am AspiringAuthorA..M. and eye shall be your reviewer for tonight. AS you can tell I am quite odd.

Nice drawing, and the coloring isn't half bad. But, I do have some issues with this. I'm referring to the gray shading on the characters pants, and the strange shadow like blots on the white?

Just what are they? And why do they appear to be floating in empty space? I'm sorry, but that just distracts from the drawing.
