[SIDE A ZIP]

1. Memphis Exorcism by Squirrel Nut Zippers
[Instrumental]

2. These Bones by Dashboard Confessional
These bones / Are like maps and keys,
Where they took their hits / And they felt those teeth.
There's a story hidden / Underneath.
If you dig in deep / Will you find relief

A song for William.

3. Grace of God Go I by Flogging Molly
Lookin' down through a tide of no return
Is a field where the crops no longer grow
Parched is the land, strangled an' be damned
There for the Grace Of God Go I.

A song for William. Mmmm, Dave King's voice is so yummy.

4. Black Door by the Black Keys
what's behind
your black door

9. Girl with Clouds by The Bears
She makes
me wait
she turns away
she pretends she doesn't hear a word I say

She's a girl with clouds in her head

Her room,
the sky
she shuts her eyes
and she's never alone even when she's by herself

She's a girl with clouds in her head

A song for Anezka.

10. Blacklisted by Neko Case
to what smooth place at the end of the line
with crackling fires and quiet plains
do the trees bend down
fold their limbs round you?
welcome home faithful one
we forgive you

11. Hunter's Map by Fionn Regan
When the cloud rolls back, back, back
I'll meet you at the mill

Depressions in your neck

4. Heavy Boots by Cold War Kids
Heavy boots for crying out loud

Find the clues recreate

A theme for Lazy Bones.

5. Case in Point by Andrew Bird
I’m a breather, bottom feeder
how many litres must I imbibe

but still I try

A song for William.

evil hides
in dark places
but now I find it
in familiar faces

7. Your Heart is an Empty Room by Death Cab For Cutie
Home's face: how it ages when you're away
Spring blooms and you find the love that's true
But you don't know what now to do

And she stopped running months ago

And all you see is where else you could be when you're at home
And out on the street are so many possibilities to not be alone

13. bonus track – Still Waters by Molasses Creek
Time takes time to realize that time’s slipping away,
I really hope to catch it someday.

A theme for William and Lazy Bones in general.

A sort of separate note from the fanmix, I've met Molasses Creek (a band based on Ocracoke Island). They played at one of my cousin's wedding in North Carolina. We got to hang with them for awhile around the campfire. They are a rather interesting, funny bunch of musicians, and I recommend if you like this song to buy their CDs.

Enjoy,
Cal.
Fraser: Stop stealing the blanket.
[Diefenbaker whines]
Fraser: You're an Arctic Wolf, for God's sake.
(Due South)

Hatter: Do I need a reason to help a pretty girl in a very wet dress? (Alice)

Got YWS?
