do you want us to be more than one character? or just going to wait for others? or just have this much? why not just have ONE person be an half elf human, I'm fine being an elf, just saying! that way you wouldn't have to make up way more than you wanted.

Something to consider.

It often happens in storybooks that an author says "Hey, save a spot for me" and is never heard from again. So, it may not be a good idea to wait for them to submit a profile. I think that if they haven't written their profile by now, then they probably don't have the time to participate in the storybook to begin with. In any event, we can always pick up any stragglers after the story has begun.

I have a suggestion on how it should start. How about (wherever the start location is.) we all have to kind of decide who is the leader or something? And will we all have a meeting point? And what of introductions? That would be interesting...

What if the person who started this whole thing, writes the beginning, because they have an idea of the story, and where they want it to go, but then who goes after? should we make a line of people? or just go with it, like decide who should write next.

Yeah, the person who started this thing is going to write the beginning. I was not going against that. They were suggestions, and rather more questions about how it's going to be.
And who will go next is a good question, but I guess it could decide on the pilot, which is also why I was making my suggestions. I wanted to get a clue of how the beginning was going to work.

Ok sorry for the delay, I hope to start this SB next week.
As for how it starts, it will be in the palace where the servants of the king have arrived after receiving their summons. The king will give some last minute instructions and give a feast for his heroic followers (where you guys can get to know each other a bit). I've decided to create another scout character who will be sort of the 'scene-setter' to give y'all an idea of their surroundings. He's not a warrior but just the person who goes ahead and gives a report. Anyway, if you have any other ideas, feel free to voice them!

My elf hates humans, do you want me to change that, or do you like that?

Hating humans means that he doesn't like any aspect of humans, either its sins or virtues. If he only has a problem with it's sins, including greed, pride, and deception, then its more likely that he hates the sin, not necessarily humanity.

@Dakushau, I would prefer no lizard men, but what you could do is act a dragon. We could have the dumb dragons and then the tame dragons (the ones that talk etc). Or you could be a fairy-sprite. They are shape-shifters so your character could become a lizard but that wouldn't be his true shape. Your choice.

@Hopkin, that's fine thanks for changing it.

Ok this is the last chance to enter. Finish/post your character profiles as soon as possible. If you would like to act another character that's great with me. If you want to act a villain please PM me. Here are the characters I still need, please share the word around! I hope to start this on Tuesday.

I think awritersdream idea is a really good starting point, it'll let us all get to know each characters personality right off the bat :)

Yes of course! Sorry I didn't see this. Your character can be a halfling. Just where is asks human, sprite, etc. on your character profile just put halfling.

crazycraz wrote:Sorry to ask this keipie, but would it be okay to make the elf/human species..? I don't think I'll be able to keep my character without changing most of her profile, and it would be more interesting to have some underdogs in the group.
