April is National Poetry Month. As part of that, you can do NaPoWriMo, which involves writing a poem every day (it can be a haiku). But, I was forwarded the idea of also doing a poetry tournament by a friend of mine, and it sounds intriguing. But, anyone want to make a go at doing this? We'd probably need a greenie to run the actual thing, but I think we can all bash our heads together to figure out how to make it work... if it's something people want to do, that is.
