Some spur of the moment silliness

That bloody cat!
Such a pest
Bouncing balls
Catnip toy
Rattling mouse
She bites my hands
And nips my nose
Won't let me work
I close the door
She just opens it

Talk about an impulse buy!
So innocent in the store
Gave me a kiss
Looked at me
With big brown eyes
Such innocent eyes
Not so innocent now
But I love her all the same
My beautiful cat

When I started reading this poem, I totally thought you were dissing your cat, but I know exactly how it feels to own a cat that doesn't let you work (my muse is more or less the thing that prevents me from seeing the monitor), and I was going to strangle you for being so cruel to kitties. But the last two lines cleared that up, I'm happy to say.

Anyway, this is a very good piece; I understand exactly what you're talking about. Brief, to the point... I like it.
