Sci-fi SB idea.

Hi guys. You may not know me and, in all honesty, I am not surprised. I do not tend to review other peoples work and not a lot of SB's have caught my eye. That is why I am, if all goes well, creating a SB. It is science-fiction set several hundred years in the future. It is about humanities expansion into space, however not all humans agree that this is good. I'm not here to give you the full plot but it will involve a, yet to be named, empire, republic etc fighting a, yet to be named, religious order that thinks that humanity is unworthy of it's accomplishments. Characters will be set on the empire, republic etc side and the characters will be stationed on a single capital ship. The reason for this is that conflict on that scale cannot, in my view, be cohesive and chronological. The story may become a load of random events. I will be thinking of new ideas to add to the SB.

Nice idea! Not entirely original as I've seen some Sci-fi books set in the future with a war kind of theme. The religious part is a nice touch, kind of reminds me of the film 'Priest'. I'd be interested to see what you come up with and the plot line.

I have decided to scrap this idea in favour of a different idea. More of the new idea will be up, but I am going to make sure people are interested first of all.
