Hey guys! I've been gone for ages now and I've missed this site like crazy. Now that I'm officially on bed rest until my babies are born I have a ton more free time than I did before. While on bed rest last week (before my husband got our internet running) I read (and finished) Stephen King's Dark Tower Series. I loved it. That series is another reason why he's my number one favorite author. The entire series was brilliantly written and really, really entrancing. (So much so that I stayed awake until 6 in the morning one night just to finish the last book.) However, the ending was one of those endings that made me want to cry. Honestly. (SPOILER ALERT HERE! LOOK AWAY IF YOU HAVEN'T FINISHED THE SERIES YET) At the end of the entire series, Roland simply FORGETS that he's already found the tower? It was a good ending but it also made me incredibly sad for Roland.
Anyways, I just wondered how many of you have read the series and what you all thought of it.

I have read a few of SK ( The shining, Cujo, Carrie, Salem's Lot, Bag of bones......) but never got around the dark towers but I think I'll start very soon, now that you say that it was that entertaining.

Stephen King is pretty much my idol. The DT series is his best work, though. You should definitely read it. It's amazing. Warning, the ending is horrible! (Bittersweet really)
