I've been a fan of The Hunger Games since I read the first book about 2 years ago... anyways, I wanted to challenge myself with creating a more realistic drawing and decided to take my reference from a screenshot of the movie. It's not perfect, I lost stamina and couldn't finish the rest of Gale, but at least I'm proud of my effort lol. Any critique would be appreciated as always

that is really amazing! My only suggestions would be to darken them a bit, so they stand out more from the page instead of blending in almost. Also, the eyes. They kinda look like they're squinting at each other... but maybe thats just me
I love the drawing, it's very nice, the only thing that was awkward to me was Kattniss's facial expression. I just find it awkward I don't know why but other than that great job.
Blacksheep, this is just AMAZING! The level of detail just shouts out that you placed lots of effort into your work. I love the shadowing that you placed on the drawing. I'm hoping to see more works from you. ~Vit

I love this sketch! The hair is cool. I've always wanted to be able to draw hair like that, like with the strands rather than just the big blocks that I usually do.
And the clothes are really good too, where you've put the folds and the thickness I can see in the material is all really good.
The faces are mostly good except maybe Katniss looks like she is squinting a little too much? I dunno what it was like in the original screen shot but here it looks a little odd.
Also the hand could use a little work but hands are hard as heck to do! Just keep practising and I'm sure you'll get there eventually
Another plus thing would be your shading! It's really good and gives the drawing that 3D type feel to it.

It seems like write in the trailer when Gale says that they could run away. You love the books? Is Finnick awesome or what. Anyway, as far as work goes, ++++++(which is a good thing)
There are a few notable things to pick at. The Katniss shoulders aren't lined up correctly. Her right shoulder should be back a bit. If you try to mimic her position as you sit in your chair, you won't feel comfortable at all.
What's with the hand? 3 stubby fingers and a thumb? It looks like the hand was the last thing you did and didn't put much effort into it.
Great job all around though. Keep it up. You have the talent, you just need more practice.
Personally, I like Peeta a whole lot better then Gale. I always figured there was something fishy about the guy. :/ But I do like the drawing! Its very nice!
