Name: Kufler
Age: 31, young for a centaur.
Narnian or Son-of-Adam/Daughter-of-Eve?: Narnian, a centaur.
Personality: Kufler is a quiet, and likes to think things through before doing them, but can make decisions under pressure because he doesn't lose his head. His reactions are fairly fast because his family was very upbeat.
Appearance (description): The horse part of him is a dusky brown, almost black. He has his hair short at the present because of an accident at home (it involved a lot of fire and his head). When it grows back, he hopes it will be the same colour as it used to be (the same as his 'coat'), but his mother told him that it might come in much lighter. He told his her that if it did, he would keep it shaved off. Although he doesn't usually fight offensively, he defends and runs away quite well. His arms and legs are very muscled, and he is very fast. His eyes are a grayish colour when it is fair weather, but they change when the weather does.
History: Kufler comes from a well-respected family where he has two sisters (one older, one younger), and two brothers (one older, one younger). All can fight and are well known in their community. It was his younger brother, the youngest of them all, that threw a lamp on his head and burnt his hair off. His parents battled by the sides of the four children from the other world and Caspian against the Telmarines. They won, but his mother was injured and can no longer maintain great speeds like she used to be able to. Kufler was always the odd one out in his family because though they all studied the stars like all centaurs did, that was the only time any of the others could sit still. Even his mother would constantly have to be walking around all the time. His youngest brother and oldest sister were the worst, but when Kufler got moving, his brother was left behind and his sister, Mara, had to struggle to keep up. Kufler sometimes will miss out on important details because he is contemplating other details. It doesn't take him long to come up with a plan, but it will take forever for him to share it, because he has to think over every detail, and if he thinks he can do it on his own, he is likely to try it before showing the others. If someone else has a different plan by the time he is ready to share his, he won't argue or put his plan out there unless someone asks.
Up for Love?: No.
Other: He is very sarcastic, and can lie convincingly. He likes to paint, but thinks he isn't very good, so he never shows anyone. Besides, his family is too busy to stop and critique a work of art. He has never even told anyone that he paints. He doesn't like to talk about himself much in general.

We're starting!

Rilian sighed, turning to his two most trusted friends and advisers, Apel and Kufler, "It's the only option left for us. I blew the horn, but it's been weeks. No-one is coming."
"My King, you can't leave your kingdom for so long," said the Satyr, "Especially not at this time of war."
"We don't even know if this sea-dragon exists. If you go, the Calormenes will destroy Narnia and there'll be no-one here to defend it!" the Centaur added.
"If I stay, the Calormenes will destroy Narnia anyway, so at least this way I can feel as if I'm doing something!" Rilian shouted. He apologised almost immediately, "I'm sorry. If only Aslan were here to help us... I just want guidance. To know that he approves of what I'm doing..."
The King fell silent as guards entered with two children, one of whom was kicking and screaming.
"We found these in the palace gardens, my king." a guard said, bowing, "We think they're Calormene spies.
"Can it be- can it really be?" asked Rilian, turning to his friends, "A son-of-Adam and a daughter-of-Eve! Thankyou Aslan!" he fell to his knees, then quickly righted himself.
"Unhand those children immediately! We must be off on our quest!"

Paige- This is really long so I put it in the spoiler. I had to catch the children up.
Spoiler
Usually I liked Easter Holiday. It was time away from school and I got to spend the whole time with Mum and Daddy. We would decorate eggs and then hunt for them before going to Easter service. This Easter happened to be jolly well terrible. Not only was Daddy still MIA but my older cousin Adrian was ith us for the whole holiday until we go back to school.

Now I understand that teenagers tend to be moody and rebellious (I've read so many stories about it), but Adrian was a troublemaker. Mum doesn't want me to judge him but even Grandma said he was up to no good. But Mum didn't see that. Something about our Christian duty to help him... it was easy for her to say, especially when she wasn't even here. She was out getting rations.

I sighed and turned over in my bed to get my picture book, but it wasn't there. I frowned and looked around the whole bedroom, but my favorite book wasn't anywhere.

"ADRIAN!" I shouted. He didn't answer. From down the hall, muffled American jazz was pounding from his door. I opened it and saw him on his own bed with a sketch pad and... my picture book.

"You did steal it!" I pointed. He looked up and took the needle off of the record player.

"What?"

"You stole my picture book."

He rolled his eyes. "I didn't steal it. I needed to see a picture to copy." I went over to see what he was drawing and caught a glimpse of the garden, but he immediately pushed me away,

"Who said you could see it?"

"Why can't I?"

"I don't let anyone see what I'm drawing!"

"Well maybe if you were more open, people would like you better!"

"And maybe if you weren't so short, I would care!" he retorted and messed up my hair. I pulled away and straightened the locks out, glaring at him.

He looked down and then back up. "Are you still here?"

"What is your problem?" I hollered.

"The only problem I see here is you!"

At first I thought the breeze that blew through the room was from Adrian's anger, I knew of stories like that. But I saw his look turn from rage to fear in seconds.

"What's going on?" he shouted over the howling as the breeze kicked up into a gale. "You're doing this!" he accused me.

"No I'm not," I defended. The wind started blowing things around and we immediately dropped to the ground.

"Stop it!" I heard Adrian holler. "Stop it!"

As if the wind were obeying my older cousin, it suddenly dropped and the world stopped spinning. I blinked open, the ground slowly went from triples to doubles to a single solid ground… but this was weird. It wasn’t the wood floor of Adrian’s room. My hands were touching dirt and grass and were surrounded by beautiful flowers.

“Ugh,” Adrian groaned and flopped to his bottom. I looked up and around. There was a sky, but I had never seen it so blue before. And near us was a towering white building, like a castle.

“Where are we?” I whispered.

Adrian seemed to have heard me and looked around, then glared at me. “What have you done? Where are we?”

“I just asked that,” I argued back.

“Hey! You!” We turned and two guards towered above us. Both had adult faces and bodies, but their legs were covered in goat hair.

“What are you supposed to be?” Adrian scoffed.

“We are Narnian guards. Who are you supposed to be? Calormene spies?”

“Calormene? What are Calormene?” I asked.

“Nice try,” said the other guard before picking me up by the collar. “You’ll have plenty of explaining to do for our king.”

“King?” Adrian cried, but was then taken by the other guard. Since Adrian was too big to be picked up like me, the guard buckled Adrian’s arms behind him and forced him onward. Adrian was kicking and screaming all the way.

We were taken through a small door by the side of the great white walls and were led through corridor after corridor. I had seen pictures of castles and read about them, but all of the castles I knew about were dark and cold. This castle had many windows and was very open with warm light streaming through.

The guards opened a large wooden door and led us into what looked like a giant study. Inside were two creatures and an adult. One of the creatures and four horse legs, a centaur. The other was covered in goat fur and had goat horns but walked on two hooves. I didn’t know what he was.

The man in the middle must’ve been the king, but he didn’t wear a big golden crown. Instead the golden crown was small and simple and stuck out from his dark hair.

"We found these in the palace gardens, my king," a guard said while bowing. "We think they're Calormene spies.”

Adrian was kicking at the guard and screaming, “LET ME GO! I’LL HAVE YOU REPORTED! I’LL CALL THE POLICE!”

I shook my head and looked at the king. He had gone down to his knees and stood up again. Was that some kind of strange bow back?

"Unhand those children immediately! We must be off on our quest!" he commanded. The guards looked at each other queerly but obeyed and let us go. Adrian was about to attack his guard, but he saw the creature pull out a sword.

“Don’t try anything,” the guard warned.

“Adrian, stop it,” I said and stomped my foot. Adrian rolled his eyes, but still scowled as the king approached us.

“What quest?” I asked.

Almost a Narnian chapter, right? ;D

Adrian Pristine

I struggled in the monstrous guards arms, wishing to claw out his throat. What was happening? The man who called himself the king bowed to us. As it should be, I thought to myself. The king barked the order for us to be let free and the guards dropped us-well, me- and told us to not try anything. I glared at him and wished to kill him with all my soul.
The king’s face radiated with joy. “We are off!” he cried.
“Off where?” I mumbled, not really asking nor really wanting to know.
“Off on a quest! A grand, noble quest to save Narnia! Yes it will be dangerous,” My eyes lifted at this comment, “and there will be battles and bloodshed! All for Aslan and his creatures, here in Narnia!”
At the mention of battles and bloodshed, I was ready to go. “Count me in!” I shouted and bowed to this man. A look of satisfaction crossed his face. I glanced over at Paige. I wondered what she thought about this matter of glory, guts, and honor. I didn’t really care what she thought. I was liking this king dude. “When do we leave?”

"Now!" cried Rilian, getting excited, "We haven't a moment to lose! Every second the Calormenes are taking more of our land. The provisions are packed! Let us be off!"
Rilian dashed around like a mad thing, telling servants to fetch horses and the bags.
Kufler and Apel kindly explained to the children in more detail what was going on, but they only looked more confused.
However, they seemed swept up by Rilian's enthusiasm and happily followed him down to the stables.
Soon, they were all mounted and ready to go.
Apel and Kufler were to come with them, and there were a few more in the party. The children stared in wonderment at all of the centaurs and fawns darting around, and everyone looking at them as if it were all mundane and ordinary.
"Where are we going?" asked Paige as the horses began to trot away.
"We are going to some caves near Beaversdam, with passages all through and under the cliffs. From there, we shall go to the Underland, and who knows what adventures shall then await us!"

Rilian's expedition rode through Narnia, and everwhere they went they were met with cheering. Rilian was obviously a popular King, and the people were all overjoyed to see him. Fawns, centaurs, dwarves, talking animals and the like all turned out to wish their King well, and to gawk at the strange creatures from Another World.
The children were fascinated, though perhaps a little frightened.
Some creatures danced behind them for a time, set on helping their King in his quest to save Narnia. Most turned back after a time, but by the time they had arrived at the cave entrance a few loyal subjects remained. Rilian thanked them all profusely for joining the quest, but wondered sadly how many of them would survive...
Rilian shook the thought away and entered the cave, feeling a little excited at the thought of the adventures that awaited them...

So, what will be their first escapade?

I want to add another character to this.

Name: Garnan Normek. Meanings- Gar- strength, Nan- light or enlightenment, Norm- wisdom, Mek- passing of time

Age: 26, old enough to be considered a man

Narnian: Dwarf

Personality: Quiet, withdrawn. Speaks with wisdom. Honest about what he thinks. He's different since he was rejected by his love. He changed from an outgoing personality to a wise, quiet, gentle and peaceful person. Loves nature, but always loves being underground. Writes poetry about beautiful, simple things. However, he has hardened his heart towards women. He's not outright mean to them, but he hints that he thinks that they are lesser beings. Will be a bit rude to people that he believes aren't worth the space.

Appearance: Image This is him, just imagine him with less lines on his face.

History: Had a gorgeous girl, whom he loved with all his heart, who "stabbed him in the back"(not literally) She dumped him for a shorter dwarf with better mining skills. He cried out to Aslan to change what had happened but alas, he knew it could not be. He accepted the fact that there is a reason behind all of this.

Up for Love? : No, he once gave his heart away only to have it crushed.

Other: Enjoys hunting and carries a bow and arrow on his back.

He is one of the people to join the quest while we are walking, it's easier for me to write Adrian and Garnan into the same section than to write two seperate sections. At the top of each section I will write who's view it is from and below it who are featured in the section.

Point of view- Adrian
Segment includes-Adrian and Garnan

Oh this is torture. I didn’t sign up for this! The king made us march-yes, march- for a seemingly endless time. Then he practically shoved us down into this deep, dark cave. Slime covers the walls and water drips down from above. I was roughly handed a lantern and was told to light it. A spark flashed in front of me as a big ox like thing (Apel, the satyr) slid a rock across another. The spark fell and landed on a small pile of moss and grass.
“Quick, light your lanterns!” the ox thing yelled. I was jostled over there by the rest of the strange creatures and few men. I bent down to light my lantern.
“I don’t want to walk any longer, my feet are sore.” I grumbled and complained.
“Oh, quit your yapping,” one of the other men whispered, “We have plenty of walking to do yet.”
“Ha! That’s right by Aslan!” one of the strange creatures yelled back at me in his deep, masculine voice as he began to take short strides down the cave. “We’s are walking the whole way!”
My face paled. “The whole way?” I asked, my mouth hanging open.
The same creature called back to me again. “Shut your mouth; I don’t think that you are trying to catch any flies, are you now?” I growled and my fists scrunched together by my sides. I wanted to fight that thing so bad. It stood about three, nearly four feet tall and had a midnight black, braided beard. I definitely had the advantage of height, maybe weight too. You can’t tell how heavy any of these creatures are.
“You want to fight?” I called after it tauntingly. “Huh? You think you could take me down? Ha! What a joke!”It stopped, mid trot, and turned back towards me. It took several steps closer.
“I am Garnan Normek, the short meaning of my name is simple. ‘Strength comes from enlightenment and wisdom from the passing of time.’ I know this and you do not. You are not strong of the mind, lad. You need enlightenment. Wisdom is harder to get because time passes slowly. You shall have neither strength nor wisdom ever, I should think, because you do not appreciate the small things in life. That is the first step to enlightenment.” He turned away and again started to trot away.
“Come back here, you hairy man! You tiny mongrel, and fight me like a man!” I yelled at Garnan, steam pouring from my ears.
“Fighting is not the way to get strength!”He laughed as he continued to trot near the front of the group. Only now did I take my eyes off that tiny, hairy beast. Everyone was gaping at me with wide open eyes. Several looked horrified, while the rest looked dumbstruck.
“What?” I asked. “Is something wrong?” that king dude called back before anyone could answer.
“Do not tarry; keep moving if you do not wish to be left behind!”

Paige-

I stuck beside King Rillian. I didn't mind the march though it was quick paced, but we had such a lovely chat on the way. Each clearing and town we passed through, everyone cheered for him.

"You certainly are popular," I giggled.

"Only by the grace of Aslan," he answered. That was a curious response, but I didn't push the matter.

We eventually came to a dark cave, like the one in Treasure Island. This was getting to be an exciting adventure!

The lanterns were lit and after a moment of gaining our bearings, Rillian looked back to his party and called, "Do not tarry! Keep moving if you do not wish to be left behind!" He then turned to me. "Stay close milady, lest you trip."

"Thank you, Sire," I smiled. Apel was walking behind me and a dwarf brushed past with a satisfied look.

"Who is that?" I whispered to Kufler.

"That is Garnan, one of the wisest of the dwarves."

"A rather rare trait, especially for one so young," Apel commented. Garnan seemed to hear him, but smiled and shook his head. I got the feeling that him and Apel were friends.

"So what are we doing in here?" Adrian demanded. I shot him a glance, but knew I couldn't do anything. Why did he have to be so difficult?

I continued to move at a very fast pace, right next to the king’s own horse. We dwarves can move faster than most other creatures would like to believe.
That silly brute needs to learn to appreciate things of beauty. I believe that if I work hard with all of my strength, Adrian, as he is called, may be strong of mind before this quest is over. It will not be easy, but I do need a good challenge to keep my mind sharp after endless days of travel.
The king slowed and announced a five minute rest. Many of the men collapsed on the spot. I gave a small chuckle. “They’ll be stronger by the time this quest is done, no doubt.” I declared too the king. He gave a hearty bellow, coming from his heart. He was bathed in mirth.
“No doubt of that!” He replied with another laugh. The king seemed unusually happy, and it left me concerned.
“Excuse me, but are you feeling alright, Your Majesty?”
“Course I’m all right!” I was not convinced. A soppy smile was pasted to his face, like he had drunk too much ale.
“Your Majesty, please forgive my interruption, yet again, but I do believe that you need a rest!”
“I do not!”Yelled the king. “”Obey me! Leave me alone!” he was whipped up into a frenzy. “I am not a thing to be toyed with!” Rillian began to throw things about, yelling and screaming like a mad man.
“Stay back from him!” I yelled above his madness. “You don’t want to get hurt!” I rushed forward as the other men cowered and hid behind the large rocks and feeble shrubbery. I grabbed the reigns of his majesty’s horse, Snowflake, and yanked down its head, trying to regain control of the magnificent beast. “Oh Aslan! Stop him!” I cried out with all my might, above the endless ruckus of noise that rolled over everything like ocean waves. “Help us Aslan!”

Spoiler
The king is going mad. He is kind of going a little loopy in the head from being underground so long, even though it is a short time. I was thinking that maybe Aslan appears to only Paige and Rillian...
