Dragonspyre Academy

Plot: Lautreamont Knight country, labeled the "Country that raises dragons." In the city of Ansarivan is Dragonspyre Academy, here students learn as "Breeders". The students bodies recieve a dragon larvae and a Seikoku Mark. They give birth to it while being a Yunios and it becomes their Pal.

Each Dragon is unique and they afford their masters unique abilities. The country lives in harmony with dragons, and those selected to become Breeders during the Orphan Ceremony are the elite of the nation. But last year everything changed.

War. It erupted when the northern Empire Zefarosu invaded the southern Kingdom of Chevron. As allies of Chevron, Lautreamont sent it's troops to the battlefield. To the Empire, Dragonspyre is a place to raise weapons of mass destruction. And now they have sent troops into the city of Ansarivan, to destroy the academy from within.

abilities: He can shoot Electricity out of his mouth, and also he has telekinesis like his master. a also very good at moving fast.

*I forgot to mention but if you are a Yunios your dragon is still very young and thus, too immature to ride. But they can do lots of other nifty things in compensation.*

Appearance- Elan has long blonde hair and deep, blue-gray eyes. He has a slender build and is slightly above average in height. Although he wears an eyepatch he can see perfectly well, in fact if anything he sees too clearly. The eyepatch is meant to help him cope with his abilities. His Seikoku is much larger then normal, extending all along his left arm.

Personality- Stubborn, proud and tenacious, with a reckless kind of courage. Elan goes his own way and does his own thing. Despite the fact that he often skips class he's one of the top Breeders at the Academy. Something that drives the teachers up the wall. His independent streak is a mile wide and matched only by his loyalty to those he cares about. Elan is a cunning fighter and makes for a dangerous foe. He also has a somewhat warped sense of humor and enjoys taunting the arrogant nobles that attend the academy.

History- The son of a thief and whore, Elan was born the lowest of the low. Despite their poverty his parents were very loving and looked after him the best they could. His mother died when he was four. That winter Elan fell through thin ice, in trying to save him his mother fell in as well. She was able to push Elan to safety but lacked the strength to save herself. After that he and his father travelled from city to city eaking out what meager living they could.

Elan turned out to be a very gifted thief and it went to his head. He determined to make one last major theft so that he and his father could live in luxury and robbed a noble's estate when he was thirteen. Needless to say he got caught trying to pawn the loot. His father took the blame for the robbery and was hanged.

Now an orphan Elan left the cities behind and went to live alone in the wilds. But every now and then he would sneak back into Ansarivan to see the dragons, even going so far as to trespass at the academy. As fate would have it the last time he snuck in was during the Orphan Ceremony, and even though he wasn't an official candidate the Mother Dragon chose him to be a Breeder. Which is how Elan came to live at Dragonsprye.

Powers- Can take on the traits of different animals, Pyromancy, Third Sight. Third Sight is the highest form of a seers power. Elan is capable of viewing anything in the past, present, and future. In the physical world or the world of the dead. He sees so much it would be easy for him to get lost in the visions and go mad. When this ability manifested the teachers came up with his eyepatch to blunt the force of his power until his control is good enough.

Type: Winged Dragon

Apearance: White scales with truly massive wings, despite his size Starfire has sleek appearance. Rarely has another dragon been born so naturally attuned to the sky.

Personality: Like Elan he has an independent streak. Starfire has an adventurous soul and gets bored easily. He never stays in the stables like the other dragons and is always poking his nose in where it doesn't belong. Like his master he has a somewhat warped sense of humour. A daredevil and a risk taker he and Elan often egg each other on.

Abilities: One of the fastest fliers of his generation. Starfire's flames are as white as his scales and far hotter then ordinary dragonfire. He also has the ability to summon and create light, though he and Elan think that's just a party trick and haven't worked out the combat abilities.
