Bam! Since I initiated this, Imma give you a review. ^_^
So quickie comments: - Brilliant work. Especially with charcoal/pencil. Kudos! I have to say the right side is drawn much better than the left. Perhaps, you started off with this side? You managed to get good strokes on the cheekbones.
Things to note: -The left half of his moustache is weird. I think you need to fix the perspective viewing on that. -His face needs some indentations and structure on the left side. It's too smooth and makes it seem 2D while the right one has a good chunk of depth. -You've shaded around his eyes on the left one but not the right one. I'm guessing it's to give a shadowed effect, but, it hasn't come out that way. Try to even it out perhaps on the other eye too. -The right nostril seems...squished? I dunno. -The left collar could have more shadows to emphasize the flipped-over nature of collars which you've shown on the right. -The right eye seems more oval-ish than the left, but that's just me amazed at the wonderful eye-drawing skill you have.
Overall: Great work. Good use of expression in art.

You have a fantastic grasp of the use of charcoal! It never wants to cooperate when I try to use it. The shading on the left side of his face is quite good; that entire side is very well-drawn. However, as Azalea said, the right side needs some more shading and detail.
The main things that bother me are his mustache and his nose. They look like they're going in the opposite direction of his face. The 'part' of the mustache should be more on the right, and his nose should be pointing that way, as well. I have trouble drawing this angle of the head, but I've found that looking at reference photos/other people can really help with the perspective.
This is a great drawing, though. The shading just amazes me. You have serious talent! Keep up the good work.

I thought that this was an excellent piece of art. I especially like the eyes that seem so deep and distinct. The nose and the moustache however, look a little off but it doesn't take away the charm from the piece. You've done the shading of the hair really well and overall, it looks like a great effort. Keep this up and soon you'll be a great sketch artist.
P.S. - Jack Sparrow would look excellent as well in this style of art. I'm secretly hoping that you draw him up as well.
