Hey there, everyone.

Writing is one of the things I enjoy doing most, but I regret that I hadn't been able to find much time for it for a while. Now, liberated from the fetters of secondary school (hahaha! and it feels good!) I have all the time in the world!

I firmly believe that the best thing you can ever give to any artist is a honest and blunt critique. I see myself writing professionally one day, and I am well aware of the growth I will need to go through between then and now in order to achieve my goals. That growth can only be achieved by detecting and uprooting my flaws and assimilating the opinions of others into my own work, both of which reviews are most helpful in.

Generally speaking, the more harsh a review is, the more fond I am of it. So go on, tear me to shreds--you'll find that I'll thank you for it!

I am excited in joining a community as vibrant and talented as this. I am looking forward to reading a great deal of your works, sharing my own, and getting to know you all.

Welcome to YWS, which you described as a vibrant and talented community. That's true, but the thing that makes us unique is the fact that we are friendly to everyone and we try to help everyone in just about any problem they might come across. So, YWS is a pretty awesome site to hang around, and once you make some friends and really get to know the site, you'll be hooked to in no time.

Other than writing, you can visit the lounge to catch on the latest information regarding just about anything. Also, if you are feeling bored you can visit this place to have some fun.

Also, you may have noticed the tab called "Storybook RPGs" Those are character driven storybooks started by a single user and continued by other people who had joined it. Basically, it's similar to an RPG game where your actions affect the whole game and any consequences that may arise. It's quite fun and exciting rather than writing a story on your own.

Now, if you have any questions and or any problem of some sort, you can PM me and I'll try to answer them. Also, you can ask any questions here and someone would definitely answer them.

Prose is my greatest love. I've tried my hand out at poetry a few times in the past, but I've never been too interested in it until quite recently. As for genre, I enjoy writing fantasy and Gothic fiction, although I do like to delve into other genres occasionally.

My literary hero is Tolkien. I don't think I need to explain that. :3 But other than that, my favorite author would have to be Terry Pratchett. The way he weaves his elaborate fantasy world with quality comic satire is something I've always loved and wanted to emulate. My favorite poet is Catullus, simply because he (and I don't think there's a polite way to say this) kicks arse so completely, shattering the stereotypical view of poets as feminine men shedding tears all day long while singing dainty words to their boy lovers. Hobbies other than writing: reading (obviously xD), procrastinating (I am a professional ), community service (yes, I actually enjoy it ), ANDDDDDDD art in all its forms .
