So what do you like to write? Poetry or prose? What genre?

I love rabbits! I used to want one, until my mom told me they don't like to be held. ^^ We have several bunny-lovers on YWS.

I hope you're enjoying yourself so far. It's a large site, and I'm sure you'll get the hang of it, but if you want some help we have a really great system for newbies. [urlhttp://www.youngwriterssociety.com/topic20053.html]The Buddy System[/url] allows newbies to get an older member to be their own personal guide. Your mentor will answer all of your questions, review your work, and introduce you to other members, not to mention they will simply be utterly awesome.

If you have any questions, you can always shoot me a PM (private message) or leave a note on my open wall. The people in green are moderators, and they are really great people to ask if you have a question. Also, if you have a question you think might have already been asked, you can go to the "Answers to Questions Everyone Has" topic.

I hope you like it around here and that you get around easily. It's pretty easy once you get the hang of things so in no time you will be wandering the streets of YWS all on your own!

We've got the questions and answers forum for any question you may have on how the site works or if you're encountering some difficulties. Sea pointed out a link to a place where ALL common questions are answered.

We've also got writing tips if you need any or if you have any.

There's also theLoung where you can interact with the other members and have fun sharing with the rest of us.

What sort of things do you like to read or write? Is writing, for you, your hobby or is it something you want to do in the future for a living? In any case, you've come to the right place. Here you can make friends, share your creative pieces and grow in your writing!
