These photographs are nothing special as I've only really just started out (although I've loved taking photographs for my entire life) what I'm looking for uploading these are as many tips as possible on how to improve and take better quality photos. So lots of critique would be great.

I've uploaded quite a few so you don't have to comment on all of them, but please take the time to give me some tips.

All of these are taken and edited by me, so although I haven't placed a watermark on them please don't copy them.





I was a bit amazed when I took the one above. My camera has some amazing settings! It didn't look quite this vivid at first, but through taking a long time figuring out how to take the photo, cropping, enlarging and editing, I got this





I took the one above a few weeks ago on holiday. In terms of the actual photograph it isn't great but I thought the cow was too sweet not to share with others. Don't you love his horns?

My favourite was the cow. He was so adorable! Looked like he'd just woken up The first one was good, I liked the ripples of the water, the reflection of light and the reflection of the bird. I wish that you had spanned out the picture just a little bit, i think that would have had a better effect than a zoomed in picture. The second one was really nice, not as interesting as the others, because there aren't any clouds in there, but the moon was just posing perfectly. The bird on the wire was a great picture too, the thing that gets me is that the sky is completely white, because I once took a picture of the same thing, except the sky was deep blue. The bird looks beautiful, and you captured him or her well. The flower's gorgeous! I love the way its petals spiral outwards in all directions. The angle you took it is brilliant here as well - couldn't have taken it better! The horses are perfect in your next one, everything just loves to pose for you! Your last picture is my second favourite, I love the way the petals are all curving backwards. You're a great photographer!

I agree that I was quite lucky with the horses posing in one of the photos, although admittedly I took a lot of other ones which weren't much good because they kept walking off!

In the picture of the bird, I edited the contrast and brightness to make the background white. It was originally a pale blue but I preferred it white.

I thought the cow was adorable too, I must have taken at least ten different pictures of him at the time! And he just stood there perfectly.

WOW!!! These are wonderful! What kind of camera do you use? I want to be a photographer when I get older, so I hope I'll be as good as you!

One thing that I think you could do more of is unusual perspective. I loved how you used it on the one of the bird, and I think you should use it more often. Obviously it's not needed on every photo, of course!

The camera I have is a Fujifilm Bridge Camera (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fujifilm-FinePi ... 185&sr=8-1)

I only bought this one a few months ago; before that I just had a fairly cheap digital camera. I think it only cost £30. I took all of these with the camera I have now, though.

These are all beautiful. Nice and in focus, and you do a good job capturing your subject. My favorite is the moor ponies (my first novel was called "The Moor Ponies," and it was like 86 typed, double-spaced pages and it was honestly terrible because I wrote it when I was like twelve). I'm sure it would be my sister's favorite just because she loves horses - in my case, I just think it was a sweet subject perfectly captured. In focus, centered, and just beautiful.

I also love the rose. The steer is awesome just because his horns give the picture a quirky kind of look.

However, the daisies I feel weren't as great - just because there are so many of them in focus that there's not really a focal point to catch your eye.

I love the gull and the moon (my other favorites now, somehow I missed them when I first looked at this). The bird on the telephone wire I'm not as sure about - technically it's good, but with the white sky in the background, it almost looks a little photoshopped - like you had to go through with an eraser and remove whatever was behind the bird. I don't think you did, that's just how it looks.

Other than that though, these were great. I'm so jealous of the moon picture, the kind of camera I can (could formerly before I was paying rent) afford just won't do that.
