Well, I'm new here. So, um, how does everything work? How do I edit my profile? Or submit work? Pretty much, how does this whole site work? If someone could fill me in, that would be lovely.

Hello, Ashia! Welcome to YWS! I'm Searria, but you can call me Sea if you want to.

Sounds to me like you might be interested in a buddy from The Buddy System. Your mentor will answer your questions, review your work, and help introduce you to other members for a usual one-month period. I'd be happy to mentor you if you'd like.

So, in answer to your questions:
You can edit your profile by hovering your mouse over the "My YWS" tab on the black bar and clicking on "Edit Profile."
To submit a work, simply click on the "submit" tab on the black bar and choose the proper forum for your piece. It costs 100 points to post something, and you can earn points by reviewing other members' work. The more you review, the more people will be willing to review your work.

So now I have some questions for you. *nods seriously*
1) What genre do you like to write/read?
2) Poetry or prose?
3) What's your favourite animal? Colour? Food?
4) How long have you been writing?
5) What are some of your hobbies outside of writing?

Just tell us a little more about you.
