Who plays Minecraft here?

Who plays Minecraft here on YWS? I've seen some talk about the game, but I've never seen any clubs for it, so, I took it upon myself to make a Club for it! Please join if you play Minecraft. The club is a place to advertise your servers(please don't spam it though), talk about Minecraft in general, and share your creations to a limited audience... er... wait. That last ones not that inviting, but you get the picture!

I play, a pirated version though.

I doooooo! I play the latest version, although I'm trying to get online, but I can't! Anyway, it's awesome. We should try setting up a server for YWS! xD

I also run a server for a group of personal friends.
However, it's only on occasionally and it's full of bugs and screw-ups. I still haven't gotten my head around the permissions.yml for a bukkit server.
Maybe when I get to le college and learn all up on java-scripting.

We totally need a YWS server.

Sucks that I'm dirt poor. If only openGL was less boring. I started learning Java a while back, and whent back and forth, I'm pretty confident to say I know Python, but doing the programming make's me respect Notch, Jebs, and any developers work much much more. But this is a side track, and off point.

Hmm, I built a redstone mechanism that gives my users free stuff. It's built so that they need to press a button at the same time a pig steps on a pressure plate (AND gate). They can't access the inner workings of the machine because I run a block protection plugin. However, they can open the dispenser if they can see it, so I made it drop the items into a stream of water that leads to where they stand and press the button.
Kinda cool.

Do you have to stock that machine or is it item-duping(if that bug still exists)?

...well all I do is rob villages and then cover them in lava. If that counts ;w;

I have to restock it, of course, never knew of any item-duping glitch in MC. It was funny at first, because the pig kept de-spawning. Finally, I spawned two pigs, fed them wheat and then put a saddle on the baby pig (after it grew a little, of course.) I think that keeps it from de-spawning now.

With villages I always try to save the stupid villies and make more (Read: put lotsa useless doors around) It's hard when the zombies horde, though.

The pigs shouldn't despawn anymore since Beta 1.8... although animals sometimes suffocate in the walls on servers(the most annoying SMP glitch, IMO).

Actually, I think I'm accidentally killing it with the /butcher command.

What mods do you guys use?

Being a not public server with my fourish friends (I know tenish people that play, they just don't like me all that much ), I prefer not running mods now. But, originally... wait... why did you get to high jack my thread? Lol. Just kidding. I don't care. But, originally I used bukkit with lockette, worldEdit, worldGuard(I played with), and some various time settings ones. The time setting ones were used to make eternal night server where we lived exclusively underground. Was mostly fun, but we all lack the capacity to not fight every five minutes, so eternal night often died.

LOL, I've never tried an eternal night plugin.
However, I live almost completely underground. It's safer down there.
My brothers play with me, so they kill me every chance they get.
