Lady Death and Wolven Girl Front Covers

Unfortunatly the quality isn't as good as I'd hoped but never mind...

I would make the shading a bit darker in these. Just so we can see the different things that you've hidden in the pictures (Like the one on the right) The proportions seem to be a bit off, like the one on the left. The head seems to be much smaller than the body, though that may just be the clothing. Darken it up a bit, edit proportions a tic and you'll have some really nice pieces here =] I do like the font that you used for the words though. Very nice =]

1. The lady's shoulders are a bit too wide for her head so you might want to slim those down a little. The arm looks like it isn't even attached to her body and the scythe should be in front of her hair, not behind. Unless she's trying to give herself a hair cut or something. In that case she should really try a pair of scissors The folds of the cloak are nice and the hair itself. You seem to have a little trouble with the angles though. The hand needs to be turned around a little further, though it's hard to see how you've drawn the thumb and stuff because the scanner isn't really picking your lines up. But that said, it's a pretty cool pic! I like that the scythe is double sided and the writing font is very cool.

2. This ones even harder to see! Maybe you should try uusing a camera or something to put the images up, or you could make your shading darker, add colour, go around them with pen. But anyway, the wolf's head and shoulders look pretty cool and while I can't see much of the girl, I think her proportions are better than the lady's. But I don't really have much else to say about this one as I can't see the details, sorry!

These are so amazing! I'm in awe... they look fantastically old-fashioned, which is so perfect for a book cover
I do agree that extra shading might make the different images stand out more. I like the first image, with the girl. Her hair is really wonderfully drawn! I like the wolf behind the girl in the second one, though it took me a while to see her because they kind of blend together...
I was reading through the contest for this, and I definitely think this is perfect! I like it because it's hand-drawn, not just done with computer editing (at least, I think )
I also love how the scythe is under the girl's hair, it adds dimension to it! The font you used for the titles is so beautiful as well!
I can't tell if the author's name was supposed to be there (?). If it was, I couldn't really see it...
Overall, I love it! It reminds me of my favorite books, the ones with drawn people, and not the stupid real people like on the covers of the Maximum Ride novels!
