I tried drastically to dry off my book, but at the same time, tried not to make it obvious I was that worried about it (and slightly annoyed it had gotten wet in the first place). Of course, that's what I get for reading by the water. This was just like last Christmas in Hawaii. Only this time, there was a guy standing next to me, and he was actually talking to me.
"Uh. Yeah, of course I'm gonna swim." I said, a bit nervously. I took off my coverup, put my hair up into a ponytail, and opened my wet book to let it dry in the sun. All the while, he was looking at me with a "you can't be serious" look on his face. I finally slipped into the water.
"Finally." He said with a chuckle. I glared up at him, but I couldn't hold back a smile.
Spoiler
Okay, since I played Cruz wrong last time, I didn't want to do that again. It seems you understand my character more than I understand yours, so for now I just kinda left it at my account of what you already said. Soon I'll get your character more, but since I don't yet, I thought it would be better if you continued it instead of me so I don't play him wrong again! I hope that's okay :/
